Annual Crawfish Boil Brings Families Together to Help Food for Thought Outreach

Renovation Flooring 5th Annual Crawfish Boil is an opportunity to help the community

Miramar Beach, FL – For the fifth year in a row Renovation Flooring is holding the Crawfish Boil event to show appreciation to our customers, families, and friends. This year we are again joining forces to help the local charity Food for Thought Outreach, a non profit that helps provide easy to prepare foods for students at nearby schools.

“We love helping our community in any way we can. And this is one of the ways we can support a great cause and show our appreciation to our customers at the same time”, Mike Anderson, the owner of Renovation Flooring said.

The 5th Annual Crawfish Boil is held on Friday, April 14th from 3PM to 7PM at Renovation Flooring located at 11714 Emerald Coast Pkwy., Miramar Beach, FL 32550. There will be plenty of crawfish to go around, different varieties of brew provided by Kombi Keg 30A, sweet treats from Kona Ice, and entertainment for the whole family. There will be a corn hole game for the adults and a bounce house for the children to enjoy.

Established in 2010, Food For Thought Outreach started as a small family project to serve food insecure students in one school for one year. With a $300 budget, Founder Tiffanie Nelson partnered with her son’s school to begin providing critical access to food to children in need. Over the past eleven years, Food For Thought has grown into the go-to organization for fighting childhood hunger in Walton and Okaloosa Counties.

Crissie Anderson noted: ”We love bringing families together and our employees and customers are our family. Every year, we all get excited about this event and the partnership with Food for Thought as a way to help their fundraising efforts!”

During the event on April 14th, you can drop off the donations of non-perishable food items, snacks, and drinks, and have an opportunity to send monetary donations directly to Food for Thought Outreach through a QR code.
